Spinosaurus was a large Theropod (characterised by hollow bones and 3 toes and claws on each limb) dinosaur with a diet that consisted, primarily, of fish.

Fossil remains were first discovered in Egypt in 1912 by German palaeontologist Ernst Stromer. Six specimens of Spinosaurus have been uncovered  but the first fossils were destroyed in Munich by a British bombing raid in World War 2.
